Hutt St Centre (HSC) is a place of connection and support empowering people facing homelessness to rebuild their lives rediscover their identities and reconnect with their communities.
This is a full-time onsite role offered on an initial contract until 30 November 2026 with an immediate start. We will consider 0.8 FTE for the right candidate- talk to us.
How you will make a difference
As the Volunteer Coordinator (People and Culture) you will play a key role in supporting the people who make our work possible- our volunteers and employees.
Working closely within the People and Culture team you will help recruit and ensure volunteers feel welcome and engaged that rostering and compliance are coordinated end to end and that employees are also supported throughout their journey with Hutt St Centre.
Your work will contribute to a positive safe and values-led workplace culture enabling our frontline and support teams to focus on delivering high-quality services to people experiencing homelessness.
About you
We are seeking an experienced HR and volunteer coordination professionals who are highly organised people-focused and committed to confidentiality and compliance. You take pride in keeping systems records and processes accurate and running smoothly and enjoy supporting a team behind the scenes.
You must have or be willing to obtain a satisfactory National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
