Job Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry is accepting nominations and applications for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry seeks faculty candidates with a demonstrated record of clinical teaching in the advanced dental education program in Pediatric Dentistry. Candidates with previous teaching experience including care for children with special health care needs are strongly encouraged to apply. Opportunities exist for Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor ranks. Academic rank salary and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Required Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a DDS / DMD or equivalent degree. Completion of advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry is required certificate in pediatric dentistry from an ADA approved program and should be a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry have experience in the field be eligible for license in Alabama ad must be able to obtain hospital privileges. Consideration of applicants will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
