Job Summary
Needham Public School District is an inclusive dynamic and multicultural community seeking an energetic skilled and warmTransportation Nurseto join our Summer Enrichment Program. Diverse candidates especially those from historically marginalized and silenced groups such as educators of color are highly encouraged to is a full-time position 5 days per week hours and dates per the students summer program schedule.

Location:Transportation between home and summer transportation runs the nurse will work supporting the summer program health offices.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Transportation Nurse position will include providing nursing services to a student who requires access to a Registered Nurse (RN) during transportation to and from home and school. The nurse will provide care to students in the health office between morning and afternoon tranportation.
PositionSchedule:
The position of Transportation Nurse will be from July 1 through August 8: 7:30-3:00. Commitment and availability to the full time schedule for continuity is preferred.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate has worked as a registered nurse in a school health child health community health or relevant pediatric/adolescent clinical care setting. The candidate is able to assume the full scope of responsibilities of the school nurse position. Experience with seizures is prefered.
License:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current certification for CPR and AED as a healthcare provider by the American Heart Association
Compensation:$54.02/hour
