The Volvo Learning & Development Team:
The team based at the Volvo Car USA headquarters in Mahwah New Jersey is responsible for driving a consistent robust and engaging learning journey for Volvo retailer employees. Learning is a constantly evolving support tool to ensure professional growth to deliver an exceptional customer experience for every customer every time throughout vehicle collaboration with Global colleagues the team collaborates on training course material to be consumed through an omni-channel approach not limited to web based learning virtual in-person learning and in-person learning.
What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a self-motivated team member to support the USA and Canada Learning & Development team by efficiently managing projects and adapting in a fast-paced environment. You will gain experience in automotive training methods while overseeing daily operations of the Thrive Learning Experience Platform (LXP) assisting users implementing platform activities and ensuring business requirements are met for ongoing learning. This role also involves collaborating with local and global Volvo stakeholders to help launch training initiatives crucial to Volvos transition to a fully electric car brand and future products.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in all phases of training including concept planning design and implementation with support for EX60 launch.
Provide daily support for the LXP in Commercial Sales training.
Assist in the management of Thrive events communications registration and attendance tracking.
Maintain learning pathways tagging structure ad-hoc requests data and troubleshooting.
Deploy rewards and recognition for training completion across commercial roles.
Engage with stakeholders through various communication channels.
What you will bring to Volvo:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Acrobat and email campaign builder is a plus
Energetic and professional with a strong team mindset and excellent communication skills for delivering key messages

SALARY & BENEFITS:
The hourly compensation for this internship is $22.00 per hour. The rate of pay offered is based on factors such as a candidates relevant skills experience education and overall alignment with organizational needs.
