At Axonyoullplay a pivotal role in advancing our mission to protect life by supporting the teams that bring innovative technology to our shape the systems policies and processes that power scalable growth ensuring every deal is executed with speed clarity and excellence.

AstheDirector Deal Enablement Major Accounts at Axon you will be a key enabler of the companys commercial excellencefor our Major Accounts sales segment ensuring that our deals are structured priced and executed efficientlyto support optimal customer satisfactionwhile maintaining compliance profitability andsupporting go to market objectives.

Youll manage the day-to-day operations of deal enablement for sales to our major account customers partnering closely with Sales Finance Legal and Customer Success to streamline the Quote-to-Cash process.

This role requires a combination of strategic thinking operational rigor and a deep understanding of SaaS and hardware-based commercial models. Youll be at the intersection of process policy and partnership helping Axon scale with discipline while delivering an exceptional customer and internal sales experience.

WhatYoullDo

Deal Enablement

  • Partner with Sales Legal and Finance to structure deals that balance customer needs with Axons financial and compliance standards.

  • Serve as thecentral pointof contact for deal approvals exceptions and non-standard terms.

  • SupportSales teams through the deal process from pricing strategy to contract execution ensuring alignment with revenue recognition and discount policies.

  • Support the Senior Directorand deal enablement team membersin evolving deal governance and commercial playbooks.

Support of QTCOperations

  • Support thequoting process formajor accountshelping ensurecustomerquoting and billingrequirements are accurately reflected in contract documentation. Supportaccuratetimelyquotations which arealigned withAxonstandards.

  • Help support quote and approval turnaroundSLAsproactively addressing any potentialbottlenecks to improve deal velocity.

  • Partner with the Salesforce CPQ/Billing and IT teams to enhance quotingapprovalworkflows and automation.

  • Ensure quoting data integrity to enableaccurateforecasting billing and reporting with a goal of reducing post-contract amendments where possible.

Process Excellence & Systems Optimization

  • Drive continuous improvement of deal enablement and quoting processes simplifying workflows whilemaintainingrobust internalcontrols.

  • Identifyand implement automation opportunities through AI RPA andimprovedsystem integrations.

  • Support the rollout of new pricing modelspromotionsproducts or policies ensuring smooth operational adoption.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Build trusted relationships with Sales leadership as a strategic business partner and problem solver.

  • Act as a bridge between Sales and internal support teams to drive issue resolution and enable faster deal turnaround.

  • Deliver insights and feedback to leadership on recurring friction points policy gaps and system improvements providing proposed recommendations to be implemented.

Reporting & Insights

  • Track and report on deal metrics such as quoting turnaround time deal accuracy discount levels and approval throughput.

  • Partner with Finance andRevOpsto ensure clean data for forecasting and KPI reporting.

  • Surface insights to drive continuous improvement across the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle.

WhatYoullBring

  • Education:Bachelors Degree in Business Finance or related field.

  • Experience:10-15years of experience inDeal Desk Commercial Operations or Revenue Operations ideally in SaaS subscription or hybrid SaaS/hardware environments.

  • Strong understanding of deal structuring pricing and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 exposure preferred).

  • Proventrack recordof improving deal turnaround times and enforcing commercial governance whileimprovingsales velocity.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ BillingContract Lifecycle Management (CLM) toolsor equivalent platforms.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally.

  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset; comfortable balancing process rigor with operational agility.

  • Bias for action and commitment to continuous improvement.

Success Measures

  • Improved quoting accuracy and turnaround time.

  • Increased compliance with pricing and deal policies.

  • Reduced deal friction and improved Sales satisfaction.

  • Reduced post-close amendments

  • Enhanced visibility into deal metrics and commercial insights.

Location: Hybrid Presence based near our US Hubs - Boston San Francisco Atlanta Sterling Denver Seattle New York City or Scottsdale. This role follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
