Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The Opportunity:

The Shipping and Receiving (S&R) Clerk performs routine deliveries of packages and mail throughout the Redwood City campus. The S&R Clerk. is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Their duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting. They work closely with other Shipping Clerks to review invoices retrieve products package products and place labels on outgoing packages. Their job is to keep detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments for management to review. They may also be responsible for operating warehouse equipment like scales pallet lifts and forklifts. Assists in various facilities and logistical duties as well as assisting with performing daily this role you will be called upon to:

• Receives deliveries and distributes them throughout the RWC campus.

• Handles sensitive and confidential documents and information responsibly and with integrity.

• Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers.

• Obtain and process product orders including receiving deliveries registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company.

• Maintain the company stockroom through organizing cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis.

• Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments.

• Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.

• Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them.

• Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging lifting items as necessary operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods.

• Checking Gases.

• Shipping Packages Locally & Internationally.

• Creating Package Labels.

• Cleaning & Maintaining Workspace.

• Customer Service.

• Performs routine rounds on buildings utilities and equipment.

• Complies with all company health & safety policies and procedures.

Required Skills Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• AA degree in related discipline and two years of related experience.

• Typically requires a minimum of four years of related experience and/or combination of experience and education/training.

• Organizes and prioritizes numerous tasks and completes them under time constraints.

• Applies technical standards principles theories concepts and techniques.

• Demonstrated success in problem solving.

• Experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization.

• Applies strong analytical and business communication skills.

• Proficient with broad use computer applications such as Envoy System experience working with MS Office and specialized applications as needed for job.
