Job Summary:

The Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Delivery Quality will oversee the strategic and operational aspects of quality assurance for all delivery-related this role you will ensure that all projects products and services meet the highest standards of quality. You will lead the quality assurance team implement continuous improvement initiatives collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and drive a culture of excellence in delivery quality across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Oversight: Lead the creation and execution of the overall strategy for delivery quality across all projects. Ensure alignment with company objectives customer requirements and industry best practices.
  • Quality Assurance Leadership: Manage a high-performing team of quality assurance professionals. Guide mentor and develop team members to ensure the highest level of expertise and productivity.
  • Process Excellence & Improvement: Oversee and implement process improvements to ensure a smooth and defect-free delivery cycle. Drive the adoption of industry-standard methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Agile to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with delivery teams product managers project managers and other stakeholders to embed quality throughout the entire delivery lifecycle from initiation to execution and closure.
  • Risk Management & Mitigation: Proactively identify risks that could affect the quality of delivery and implement mitigation strategies. Resolve complex quality issues in collaboration with other leadership teams.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish and monitor KPIs and other performance metrics to assess the quality of delivery. Report on progress identify trends and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the point of contact for escalated quality issues. Ensure client satisfaction through high-quality deliverables and effective resolution of issues.
  • Audits & Compliance: Ensure that all delivery processes comply with relevant quality standards industry certifications and regulatory requirements. Lead internal audits to monitor adherence to established quality practices.
  • Training & Capability Building: Identify skill gaps and drive training programs for the delivery teams to build capabilities related to quality assurance and process improvement.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Assist in managing budgets for quality assurance initiatives and resources ensuring cost-effective delivery without compromising quality.
  • Innovation: Stay updated on emerging trends in delivery management and quality assurance integrating best practices and cutting-edge tools to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Business Administration Project Management or related fields. Relevant certifications (Six Sigma Lean PMP etc.) are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 to 18 years of experience with at least 8 to 10 years in a leadership position managing teams and driving quality initiatives. Experience in Medical Coding is must with some exposure in AR/Billing process.

  • Skills:
    • In-depth understanding of quality assurance processes project management methodologies and delivery best practices.
    • Proven ability to lead large teams and manage multiple stakeholders across departments.
    • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Proficiency in quality management tools and software.
    • Strong leadership interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Experience with risk management and change management processes.
  • Certifications: Six Sigma (Black Belt or Green Belt) Lean PMP or other quality or project management certifications are highly desirable.
