Part Time HR Officer
Cookstown
Permanent Part-Time circa 22.5 hours per week
Competitive salary: 35k pro rata
We are hiring for our client a leading manufacturer in the Cookstown area. They are seeking an experienced and proactive Part-Time HR Officer to support the daily operations of their HR department.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment providing exposure to recruitment employee relations training performance management and HR compliance.

The Role:
- Assist with recruitment: job postings candidate screening interview scheduling and onboarding
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
- Coordinate training and development programmes for staff
- Support line managers with performance management and employee relations
- Administer HR documentation policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation
- Support health & safety initiatives alongside the H&S team
- Participate in HR projects including employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management
The Person:
- Minimum of 1 years experience as an HR Officer HR Assistant or similar role
- CIPD qualification preferred
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Strong communication interpersonal and organisational skills
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in MS Office and HR systems (HRIS)
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is advantageous
