ACLU of Georgia welcomes interns each spring summer and fall across legal policy communications community engagement and voter access teams. We accept students at all levels including high school undergraduate graduate and post-graduate.
We are currently accepting applications for the Summer 2026 term running approximately May 27 through August 14 2026. Dates may vary based on department needs and academic schedules. Schedules will be coordinated directly with each interns supervisor.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis so early submission is encouraged. The priority deadline is March 20 2026. Due to the expected volume of applications we may close the posting earlier if needed.
All applicants must submit a resume. Some candidates may be asked to provide additional materials. This semesters internship is offered for academic credit only.
Community Engagement & Outreach
Interns in this position will recruit train and maintain volunteers and members to get them actively engaged with the ACLU of Georgia. Interns will also work to support event creation and coordination such as events being held at the Georgia State Capitol and in the community. Interns should have an interest in political engagement and must be able to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
