Identification Technologies (IDT):

IDT is creating trusted identities for IoT applications through Smart Components and Enabling Services.

HIDs Identification Technologies powers the trusted identities of the worlds people places and things through smart components and cloud services. We make it possible for people and organizations to transact safely work productively and travel freely. Our contactless identification and sensing (RFID NFC and BLE) components and solution enabling technologies address the dynamic requirements across multiple industries to wirelessly connect identify collect and manage data quickly and accurately across virtually any IoT application.

Essential Duties:

As the HR Manager for our HID Textile Services site in La Ciotat France you will:

  • Provide comprehensive HR support to the VP of HID Textile Services and a team of approximately 50 employees ensuring effective sitelevel people partnering in collaboration with our HR Centres of Excellence.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations matters offering guidance to managers and employees while ensuring compliance with French labor laws investigation protocols and consultation processes.
  • Drive consistent performance management practices including coaching managers supporting goal setting and guiding performance improvement plans and training needs analysis.
  • Lead proactive absence management processes and support successful returntowork plans for both short and longterm leave.
  • Partner with HRBPs and COEs to implement workforce strategies including organizational changes terminations and furlough programs conducted with professionalism and respect.
  • Advise managers and employees on flexible working arrangements parental leave emergency leave and study leave.
  • Support workforce planning by guiding hiring managers on position management requisition creation job architecture and market competitiveness.
  • Deliver a firstclass onboarding experience for new and acquired employees and support probationary reviews during the first 90 days.
  • Ensure a professional offboarding experience including exit interviews outplacement support and preretirement planning.
  • Support M&A activities through due diligence site visits onboarding and compliance training partnering closely with HRBPs on integration plans.
  • Provide tools and guidance to support meaningful career development conversations between managers and employees.
  • Lead employee engagement belonging and inclusion initiatives including community partnerships social responsibility activities and moralebuilding events.
  • Train and coach employees and managers on global HR systems and processes across the full employee lifecycle including performance merit promotions salary adjustments bonuses and talent management.
  • Serve as an active member of the site/country leadership team championing the people agenda and ensuring strong HR governance and compliance with evolving legislation and best practices.
  • Support crisis management efforts by coordinating communication and actions related to employee health safety and wellbeing during unexpected events.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with a focus in Human Resources (preferred)
  • Proven and progressive experience gained in HR or other equivalent roles with transferrable skills.
  • Skilled at navigating and influencing through a matrixed organization.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally build strong relationships and become a trusted partner to relevant stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with French Trade Unions and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Relevant experience and a solid understanding of French labor law.
  • Must be fluent in French and English.
  • Ability to speak Spanish would be highly desirable.

Work Requirements:

  • Regular onsite attendance at the sites supported.
  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality Security Safety Business Continuity and Environmental systems.
  • Must be legally eligible to work the country the employee is hired.
