Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for Daily Repair Workflow Manager (f/m) to join our Nose & Center Fuselage In-service Airframe Engineering team based in Blagnac France.
You will join the Nose & Center Fuselage (NCF) engineering teams and be part of an integrated team having the global view on aircraft structure design and certifications. Within our team you will have the opportunity to work on amongst other things: Certification Activities Airworthiness Maintenance Methods & Tools improvements and In Service Support.
More particularly you will be part of a team developing A320 aircraft family front and central structural modifications. As part of the Structure Fuselage Engineering Team you will contribute to improve our A320 family aircraft and you will support their production simplification in order to better answer to our customer needs.

Your challenges:
Assessing the customer daily queries with respect to data completeness workload complexity
Allocating them to our worldwide teams and suppliers anticipating impacts on target dates in line with respective office hours for each team.
Monitoring progress and ensuring On Time Delivery is met.
Defining priorities in cooperation with Customer Services department.
Planning Long-term Queries that can be anticipated e.g. A/C de-lease checks review of approval documents in the frame of life extensions retrofits weight variant changes
Supporting team capacity daily assessment anticipating critical gaps and/or alerting line managers and partners.
Agreeing activities in terms of volume and major milestones with relevant stakeholders.
Securing the yearly resource planning matches the capacity need considering workload assumptions from Customer Services and general phases throughout the year e.g. less maintenance during the summer period.
Identifying and leading improvement initiatives to the workflow process looking for transverse harmonization
Measuring the key performance indicators such as OTD (On Time Delivery) and effort per unit to anticipate cost relevant effects triggering relevant root cause assessments and corrective actions in case of deviation and/or anticipation of changes.

Educated to an Engineering Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in Repair Engineering (>5 years)
Understanding of Design Stress Methods & Principles and Airworthiness requirements when designing aircraft structure
Knowledge of Customer Operations product Integrity / Liability and maintenance operation would be appreciated
Very good communication and influencing skills
Customer mindset and solution oriented
Ability to perform in a high pressure reactive environment and to quickly make decisions
Ability to translate customer requirements into operational deliverables and to prioritize
Ability to interface with others and discuss technical matters clearly and simply
Ability to collaborate well within a team to work independently when required
