We are seeking an experiencedCommunications Leadto provide strategic endtoendcommunications and stakeholder engagement leadership for theNational Ticketing Solution (NTS) one ofNZ Transport Agencys most significant transformation programmes.
In this role you will lead bestpractice internal and external communications that support successful programme delivery working closely with Public Transport Authorities programme partners seniorleadersand stakeholders across NZTA.Youllbe a trusted advisor within the NTS Management Team shaping clear narratives managing risk and ensuring communications align with government priorities and organisational strategy.

Note: This is a fixed term or secondment opportunity based in Wellington for two years.
ŌPūmanawa Whatwerelooking for
Our ideal candidate will have some orall ofthe following (butdontworry if youdonttick every box):
Extensive experience leading strategic communications and engagement for large complex programmes or projects
Proven ability to develop and deliver integrated communications strategies managing risk and solving complex issues
Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear compelling messages
Strong experience across a range of communications disciplines including internal communications stakeholder engagement media marketing and content development
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders partners and diverse stakeholder groups
Experience working collaboratively in multi-partner or public sector environments
Knowledge of or a willingness to build capability in Te Ao Māori tikanga Te Reo Māori and TeTiritio Waitangi as it applies in the public sector
A relevant tertiary qualification in communications or a related discipline (IAP2 training desirable but not essential)
