Position Summary
Indiana University School of Nursing ( IUSON ) seeks qualified applicants for tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of assistant associate or full professor. Our in-person work arrangements facilitate access to an outstanding array of institutional resources including a robust onboarding program and a high degree of campus engagement and networking. We invite applicants who have high potential for or an existing record of nationally and/or internationally disseminated and peer reviewed scholarship and national / international reputation. IUSON is looking for applicants who will contribute to our commitment to engage the city state nation and beyond through research teaching and service in consideration of the rich history of our campus and community. Preference will be given to candidates with a track record of research and research dissemination in the areas of artificial intelligence rural health and cardiometabolic disorders. Overall the candidates responsibilities include contributing to IUSONs research teaching and service missions. 1. For appointment to Associate Professor applicants must show evidence of an emerging national reputation. For appointment to Full Professor applicants must show evidence of a sustained national reputation as demonstrated by a well-established and cumulative body of work in rank. These candidates must demonstrate an outstanding scholarly record of research exhibited by high-impact peer-reviewed publications and a forward-looking vigorous research agenda that has been continually securing competitive external funding. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with interdisciplinary teams of interprofessional researchers across clinical and academic settings. 2. The candidate is expected to engage in high-quality teaching and mentoring. 3. The candidate is expected to actively participate in service at the school campus community and professional levels.
