The school is looking for an Art Teacher who can deliver engaging and imaginative lessons that foster creativity technical skill and critical thinking. Art is a popular subject at GCSE and A Level with strong student outcomes and a high level of participation in enrichment activities.
You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the opportunity to deliver A Level Art depending on experience. The department encourages exploration across a range of disciplines including drawing painting mixed media sculpture and digital art.
The successful candidate will also contribute to exhibitions competitions and extra-curricular art clubs helping to maintain a strong artistic presence across the school community.
QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Degree in Art Fine Art or related discipline
Strong subject knowledge and portfolio of practical work
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
Commitment to inclusive student-centred learning
Enthusiasm for enrichment and cultural engagement
