Job Summary

VHIR is looking for a Dietitian for Clinical Trials in obesity within the Diabetes and Metabolism Research Group

Education and qualifications:

Required:
  • Degree in Dietetics or Masters/PhD in a related field

  • Additional training in Clinical Trials

  • Fluency in Catalan Spanish English (business level)

Desired:
  • Additional training in data management data bases and statistics

  • Additional training in obesity clinical management

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing

Experience and knowledge:
Required:
  • At least 1 year of experience working in Clinical Trials.

  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice

  • Ability to coordinate clinical trials.

  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

  • Able to communicate with patients and their care givers

Desired:
  • Knowledge how to manage patients retention during clinical trials.

  • Ability to obtain process and manage the blood samples and study related procedures.

  • Ability to maintain and organize the schedule of the multidisciplinary team.

  • Knowledge of e-CRF and management of clinical data related to clinical trials.

Main responsibilities and duties:

  • Nutritional assessment and diet planning and personalisation for patients enrolled in Clinical trials in obesity.

  • Perform nutritional assessments: bioimpedance nutritional US and indirect calorimetry.

  • Collaborate with the medical team and study across all relevant departments involved in the trial

  • Analyse clinical data obtained from the study

Labour conditions:

  • Full-time position: 375h/week.

  • Starting date: As soon as possible.

  • Gross annual salary: 27.00000 euros (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)

  • Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project
