The Vice President Family Experience is the global product and performance owner for Shangri-Las family portfolio spanning room (family rooms) and non-room (programmes partnerships play spaces and experiences) products. The role leads the strategic vision development and operational excellence of this portfolio end-to-end from ideation and design through implementation optimization and performance management to deliver guest-loved brand-defining and financially successful family experiences.

What youll be doing

  • Own the family portfolio
    Lead the global strategy and product roadmap for family rooms play spaces (dry and wet) and family programmes/partnerships; Take accountability for overall portfolio performance including revenue growth profitability ROI and reinvestment recommendations for family products and experiences.
  • Develop and improve products
    Design pilot and refine family rooms play spaces and non-room experiences then scale successful concepts across the Group with clear playbooks and toolkits for hotels.
  • Drive brand and commercial impact
    Work with Brand Marketing Digital Commercial and Revenue Management to position price and promote family products ensuring they strengthen Shangri-Las brand and deliver strong commercial results.
  • Ensure operational excellence
    Set and maintain standards and SOPs for family rooms play spaces and programmes across key operations functions including maintenance safety and cost efficiency.
  • Shape design evolution
    Partner with Project & Design to ensure family spaces are guest-centric brand-aligned and appropriately localised to different markets and cultures. Own guest insights for continuous evolution
  • Manage performance and governance
    Define and monitor key KPIs (revenue profit RevPAR family member acquisition marketing awareness) and lead regular reviews with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and influence
    Build and develop a Family Experience team strengthen capabilities across hotels and regions and act as a senior ambassador for Shangri-Las family proposition internally and externally.

What were looking for

  • 1215 years of experience in hospitality brand management product development or corporate strategy with significant exposure to brand and marketing for consumer-facing products or experiences.
  • Degree in Business Hospitality Management Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Strong track record in developing commercialising and scaling guest-facing products or experiences (room and/or non-room) with clear impact on revenue profitability and ROI.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance guest-centric design with operational feasibility and financial discipline.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with experience working in a matrix environment across Brand Marketing Operations Design Development and Commercial functions.
  • Highly organized resilient and comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management stakeholder management and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior executives.
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English; Chinese language capability
