Summary of Position

This posting is for a Permanent Part -Time caretaker with a split shift between Bready (3.0 hours in the AM) and (3.0 hours in the PM) Lawrence Schoolto commence immediately. Position hours are six (6) hours (0.75 FTE) daily from Monday through Friday. As a Caretaker you will focus on keeping the school clean and maintained to provide an optimal learning setting for our successful candidate must possess well developed interpersonal skills be energetic have the ability to take initiative and work independently with a positive and supportive attitude in a team environment.

This position includes janitorial work groundskeeping seasonal tasks and some maintenance.

Qualifications

• Preference will be given to candidates with a Grade 12 education and previous training/experience in caretaking
• A Firemans Certificate or WHMIS training would be considered an asset

• be a self-starter with the ability to work independently;
• be able to handle various physical tasks involving lifting bending twisting turning and climbing;
• have the ability to prioritize multiple demands and effectively manage time;
• be willing to work in varied climates and conditions;
• have excellent communications skills;
