Join Our Team as a Clinical Senior Occupational Therapist - Lead Mentor and Shape Rural Allied Health Services

Make a significant impact by delivering expert occupational therapy services across rural and remote communities while providing clinical leadership mentorship and professional supervision. This role offers the opportunity to influence service improvements contribute to research and develop your leadership skills within a supportive and collaborative health environment.

About the Role:

As a Clinical Senior Occupational Therapist you will apply extensive clinical expertise to provide complex and consultancy occupational therapy services across the RMCLHN region. Working within a multi-disciplinary team you will uphold professional standards lead service development initiatives and ensure high-quality evidence-informed care tailored to rural and remote community needs.

You will provide mentorship and profession-specific supervision to less experienced Occupational Therapists and support clinical education for staff and students. Additionally you will contribute to the Occupational Therapy Network engage in research and evaluation to inform practice improvements and represent RMCLHN on relevant committees. The role also offers opportunities to lead projects foster expertise within the service and collaborate with key regional and state stakeholders

What Were Looking For:

  • Must hold a recognised qualification within the Occupational Therapy profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
  • Apply specialist expertise in complex clinical or consultancy services across RMCLHN.
  • Work independently with clinical competence using reflective practice and advanced techniques.
  • Use detailed knowledge of RMCLHN operations service delivery and workforce issues to manage complex responsibilities.
  • Advise management on service development practice improvements and redesign based on client needs.
