Mission: Advancing Japans Advertising Industry

Amazon Ads is a rapidly growing division within Amazon offering innovative advertising solutions through Prime Video Twitch Fire TV Amazon DSP and Sponsored Ads. We utilize advanced adtech solutions such as Amazon Marketing Cloud to support advertisers as a multimedia solution partner enabling comprehensive full-funnel strategies.

Your Role

The Agency Development Management (ADM) team works with major domestic advertising agencies through strategic partnerships to drive Amazon Ads growth in the Japanese market. You will strengthen agency training programs enhance engagement and collaborate with internal partner teams to increase understanding of Amazon and Amazon Ads within agency organizations.

Key Responsibilities

As a business leader you will build strong partnerships with advertising agencies while contributing to Amazon Ads growth strategies. Your primary focus will be strengthening and expanding Agency Enablement deepening agency relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Displaying a consultative style candidates must be excellent communicators experienced at operating to C-Level with agencies and advertisers and able to earn trust with senior stakeholders across other Amazon addition candidates should be comfortable with complex data sets and have the ability to invent and simplify for customers. A strong knowledge of the programmatic search and ecommerce will be beneficial. Candidates will be self-motivated happy to work autonomously and highly goal-oriented in order to contribute to Amazon Advertisings ambitious growth plans.
* Develop and execute a customer-led strategy for growth for media agencies at local and regional level including close collaboration with local Advertising leadership
* Build and manage a detailed engagement strategy including local and regional business reviews
* Develop commercial structures to create incremental opportunities for growth across traded and programmatic products
* Identify opportunities for agency collaboration around large-scale creative solutions including pro-active engagement with creative agencies
* Liaise with global teams to identify transformative opportunities for agency partnerships offered by Amazons products

ADSJPTeamLCS

- Experience closing sales and generating revenue
- 7 years of digital media ad sales experience
- Speak write and read fluently in Japanese
- Working-level English for internal team communication

- Experience meeting revenue targets and quotas
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Experience in programmatic advertising
- Excellent analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including developing customer relationships and influencing senior stakeholders (VP & C-level)
- Strong data driven storytelling skills ability to create and deliver compelling presentations with outstanding visuals
