Job Summary
GHJ Search & Staffing is working with a large publicly traded healthcare services organization is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join its fast-growing Health division. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-visibility team within a stable nationally recognized company experiencing strong growth through acquisitions and operational expansion.
This role offers hands-on exposure to month-end close expense analysis budgeting support and process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and support full-cycle month-end close (journal entries accruals reconciliations flux analysis)
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Perform operating expense analysis and budget vs. actual variance reviews
- Assist with payroll allocations reserves and revenue-related entries
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Partner cross-functionally with operations and finance leadership
- Identify and improve manual accounting processes
Qualifications:
- 4 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong month-end close experience
- Advanced Excel skills (comfortable with large data sets)
- Experience in a high-volume fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
