This is an opportunity to join a dynamic acquisitive healthcare business in Cape Town thats aggressively expanding through strategic acquisitions and organic growth. With strong shareholder backing and clear ambitions to more than double EBITDA over the next four years this is not a maintenance role its front-row exposure to real deals and real impact.
What this role is about:
Working closely with the CFO youll play a key role in driving acquisitions building sophisticated financial models and supporting major investment decisions. From 51% share acquisitions to potential R400m transactions and new discipline expansion youll help turn strategy into numbers and numbers into action.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain integrated financial models (P&L cash flow balance sheet)
- Develop acquisition valuations and investment cases
- Support financial due diligence and transaction execution
- Assist with funding analysis and deal structuring
- Track post-acquisition performance vs. assumptions
- Partner with operational leaders to translate strategy into financial insights
What were looking for:
- CA(SA) (non-negotiable)
- 23 years post-articles experience in corporate finance transaction advisory audit or similar
- Strong financial modelling expertise (beyond basic Excel templates)
- Commercial mindset with the ability to understand business drivers
- High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a high-intensity environment
- Exposure to healthcare funding models advantageous (not essential)
Were looking for someone forward-thinking ideally interested in automation and improving modelling/reporting processes but who still understands the fundamentals behind the numbers.
