Job Summary
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Accountant to join our finance team
within a fast growing and dynamic international gaming environment. The successful
candidate needs to have the ability to work independently and take ownership of delivering
accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end workings trial balances and full group management accounts
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations (including intercompany bank and fixed
assets) while maintaining accurate accruals prepayments and other accounting
schedules - Manage VAT returns and Intrastat reporting
- Oversee bank accounts & liquidity reporting
- Review purchase invoices and prepare and authorise supplier payments
- Assist in variance analysis and liaise with other departments to obtain explanations
- Support statutory audits and other regulatory compliance requirements
- Identify financial inefficiencies and recommend financial process improvements
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
- 5 years relevant experience
- Gaming industry experience is a plus
- Strong management reporting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills are essential
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and knowledge of Power
BI are considered as assets
