Duration: 8 Weeks (Contract)
Pay Rate: Up to $24/hour
Schedule:

Monday Wednesday & Friday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a collaborative healthcare setting. The ideal candidate is patient-focused organized and thrives in a fast-paced environment where health education and community outreach are valued.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and room patients in a professional and courteous manner
Schedule appointments and manage incoming phone calls
Obtain and accurately record vital signs
Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture
Administer vaccines as directed
Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
Provide comprehensive front and back-office support
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative team members

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
23 years of overall experience preferred
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
EMR experience required
BLS or CPR certification required
Strong communication and computer skills
High attention to detail and organizational skills
