About Us:
Gold Care Homes is a well-established national independent Care Homes group for the elderly. Gold Care Homes was established in 1999 and has since grown to operate 45 care homes across the South of England. The group offers a range of services which includes residential nursing frail elderly and dementia care.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a technical support professional to provide on-site and remote IT support across multiple care homes. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining equipment supporting staff with technical issues and ensuring systems remain secure reliable and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Provide on-site technical support including equipment installation and staff training.
- Deliver remote telephone support explaining technical issues clearly to non-technical users
- Support and maintain hardware software printers scanners networks and secure print solutions.
- Manage Windows 11 mobile devices tablets and Apple iPads deployment and maintenance.
- Support VoIP communication systems including installation and maintenance of 3CX phones.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting for computer network and software issues across multiple sites.
- Investigate root causes of incidents and support service improvement initiatives.
- Assist with software updates licensing compliance and infrastructure security.
- Support projects knowledgebase documentation and provide team cover during busy periods.

- Highly organised with strong time management and SLA performance focus.
- Reliable proactive and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Requirements:
- Standard hours: 09:00 17:30 with flexibility for projects system upgrades and urgent support.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
- No sponsorship available.
- CompTIA A / Network certifications are desirable but not essential.
