Jefferson Health home of the renowned Vickie and Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified neurologist for a full-time Assistant Professor position in the Department of Neurology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. This faculty appointment provides a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic clinical academic and research environment.Job Description
- Provide neurological care across Jefferson Healths hospital system.
- Participate in academic teaching activities including resident and medical student education.
- Engage in clinical research and collaborate on scholarly publications.
- Contribute to program development and community outreach.
- Call responsibilities shared across department faculty.
Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency.
- Board certified or board eligible in neurology.
- Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.
- Commitment to academic excellence in patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience or interest in academic research.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
