Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Resilience (ICR)

We design build and secure the technology foundations that power GICs global investment operations. We aim to deliver resilient scalable and secure infrastructure that empowers our people and businesses to perform securely efficiently and effectively.

What will you do as an VP Enterprise Cybersecurity Engineering Cybersecurity Platform Engineer

• Enhance Enterprise Security Architecture:Continuously assess and improve the organizations cybersecurity architecture to address evolving threats and emerging technologies.
• Align Security with Business Objectives:Balance cybersecurity information and technology requirements with business needs in alignment with the organizations risk appetite and strategic priorities.
• Engineer Enterprise-Grade Security Solutions:Evaluate design build and implement robust cybersecurity platforms through proof-of-concept and proof-of-value initiatives.
• Develop Integrated Security Operating Models:Create scalable sustainable and efficient operating models supported by comprehensive documentation design diagrams and process flows.
• Serve as a Trusted Domain Expert:Act as a subject matter expert in Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Resilience partnering closely with stakeholders across Technology and business groups to drive secure engineering practices.

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience preferably in financial services or asset management.
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security with a focus on platform engineering and implementation.
• Proven experience in implementing and operationalizing enterprise cybersecurity platforms including:
  • Security Operations Tools:SIEM SOAR EDR and Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs).
  • Vulnerability Management Solutions:Attack surface assessment vulnerability assessment data aggregation and prioritization threat exposure management and attack simulation/validation.
  • Data Security and Protection:Encryption Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Enterprise Digital Rights Management (EDRM/IRM) Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) and Confidential Computing.
• Familiarity withcloud security controlsand architectures across AWS Azure and Google Cloud.
• Proficiency inscripting and programming(e.g. Python Java C#) with strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON for integration and automation.
• Ability to produce clear detailed technical documentation including architecture diagrams and operational workflows.
• Meticulous analytical and adaptable with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn thrive in a diverse fast-paced environment.
• Certifications (Preferred):CISSP CISM CEH or equivalent professional qualifications.
