As a Security Officer - Walking Patrol in Glendale CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an education location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support students staff and visitors with professional customer service clear communication and timely reporting of concerns. You will also use computer and/or tablet tools to document activity share updates with the team and act with integrity in every interaction.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students staff visitors and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or requests for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings parking areas athletic fields and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location and time of day.
• Monitor access points during assigned patrol rounds verify authorization for entry when required and assist with visitor sign-in and/or directions in accordance with site procedures.
• Document and report security-related observations incidents and/or maintenance concerns through Allied Universal reporting tools and communicate notable activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
