Per Diem Registered Nurse First Assistant for b Operating RoomJob Description
RN First Assistantsare responsible forthe following:
Provide patient care and support before and after the surgery.
Prepares all surgical tools and supplies needed for procedures.
Practice surgical procedures that include controlling bleeding draping etc.
TheRN First Assistantis a registered nurse whoassiststhe surgeon bymonitoringthe patient during procedures and by providing nursing care during a specifictime period.Qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
BCLS/ACLS certifications
