Job Summary

Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans instruct student evaluate and monitor students performance in order to advance student achievement. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Arizona Elementary Certificate with Music K-12 Endorsement
OR
Arizona Secondary Certificate with Music Approved AreaOR Music K-12 Endorsement
OR
Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 6-12 with Music Approved Area
OR

Standard Professional PK-12 Music Certificate

OR
Arizona Arts Education - Music PreK-12 Certificate
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS UPON HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

COMMENTS

Effective:2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

LOCATION:Pueblo High School- Ajo & 12th Ave Area

FTE :1.0 7.5 hours per day

Work Calendar:9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
