This is a leadership role with a rapidly growing CPA firm (70% revenue growth) focused on owning firm-wide tax compliance operations and driving process and technology improvements including a major platform implementation. Its less about client advisory work and more about building and optimizing how the tax function runs day to day.
Its a strong fit for someone looking to step out of the traditional high-volume model and into a more modern scalable and process-driven environment.
The firm offers a collaborative people-first culture reasonable busy season hours at 50 60 per week (40 hours is standard outside of busy season) and an attractive base range.
What theyre looking for:
- 7 years in tax operations compliance workflow or practice management within a CPA firm
- Strong public accounting background with hands-on experience in tax operations environments
- Experience building or improving compliance workflows at scale
- Exposure to process improvement or technology initiatives
- Leadership experience across teams
