Job Summary

The Mundy Companies a leader in the industrial maintenance services and construction fields is currently hiring the following for a long-term position in the Freeport TX area:

.QA ANALYST
12-hour shifts. 4 On / 4 Off. Rotating days/nights

During your 12-hour shift as a QA Analyst you will

Participate in all required site safety activities
Follow site and business procedures as well as MundyCorporate policies
Analyze controls in-process and finished product samples as required recording data in appropriate databases
Conduct raw material testing in support of manufacturing operations
Review SAP QM data for correctness to ensure product quality and conformance to customer specifications
Monitor data for deviations and trends reporting excursions to appropriate personnel
Identify opportunities for improvements to lab work practices and communicate them to supervision
Provide trial support and perform special projects as required
Help to maintain ISO 9001 and customer specific certifications and procedures
Work with co-workers as a team to facilitate optimal operations of the laboratory.

If you

Have a HS Diploma or equivalent
Are willing and able to work 12hr rotating shifts (Day/night/weekend/holidays)
Have knowledge of standard laboratory analytical techniques and instrumentation
Have good attendance performance and safety record
Are a good team player with communication skills and attention to details
Have experience in QA and in working with other departments i.e. production logistics
Are able to work unsupervised in an efficient manner
Have basic computer skills i.e. Excel Word etc.

The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time. This position requires a strong commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing is also required. All qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check pre-employment drug screen and other qualifications as required.
