Accounting Lead

What is the role that we need Accounting Lead will oversees and manages various accounting functions often including a team of accountants.

They are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting compliance with accounting standards and the overall financial health of the organization.

Managing the monthly closing process
Performing certain month end closing processes including Journal Entries for certain accounting cycles
Review significant journal entries
Review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure that asset balances are properly supported and liabilities adequately reflect obligations
Reconcile certain Balance Sheet accounts
Prepare / Review various client impactful reports i.e. Passthrough Expenses Escrow Balances etc.
To analyze workflows and suggest process improvements and efficiencies.
Prepare/review monthly and quarterly variance analysis
Any other related processes required by Customers Finance Accounting Group

Requirements

Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Minimum of 3 years experience in Corporate Accounting
Has Supervisory experience
CPA is a big plus
In depth knowledge of GAAP
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Keen attention to details
Proficient in Excel
Can work with minimal supervision and can deliver high quality output
Must be highly organized and with excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize activities effectively
Must be proactive motivated detail-oriented a team player and knows how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics
