Youandyourteamwill:

  • Provideadviceandcounseltoallbusinessunitsontopicsrangingfrompolicyinterpretationinternalinvestigationsperformance&absencemanagementflexibleworkingharassmentdiscriminationretaliationunfairdismissalandreductionsinworkforce

  • Ensureconsistentapplicationofpoliciesandprocedures

  • Reviewandadviseonwarninganddisciplineandterminationdocumentationgrievanceinvitationsandoutcomesandemployeeconsultationlettersacrosstheorganization-tailoringanddeliveringrecommendationsinaneffectivewaytohelpinfluencetherightoutcomeswithstakeholderswhilemitigatingrisktotheCompany

  • Assistwithsupportingdocumentationforallreductionsinworkforcerestructuringsandad-hocpositioneliminations.

  • Workwithinternallegalcounselandwhereappropriateexternalcounseltoensurecompliancewithalllocallegislationontopicssuchasconductingworkplaceinvestigationsperformancemanagementnewmarketopenings.

  • InPartnershipwithLegalmaintainanin-depthknowledgeoflegislativetrendsandlegalupdatestoadvisemarketsaccordingly.

Investigations

  • PartnercloselywithourLossPreventionteamandprovideexpertiseontheinvestigationandsuccessfulresolutionofERissuesandcomplaints.

  • Assistwiththedevelopmentofinvestigationplansandleadcomplexinvestigationsatandaboveacertainorganizationalleveltominimizelegalrisk.

  • Ensurethataconsistentandequitableprocesshasbeenappliedmakerecommendationsandoverseeimplementationofdecisionsthatleadtothefairandconsistentresolutionofclaimsrelatedtodiscriminationharassmentworkingconditionsdisciplinaryactionsandemployeeandapplicantappealsandgrievances.

EmployeeRelationsCaseManagementMetricsandReporting

  • Understandandutiliseexistingtoolstoenableacasemanagementapproachthatensureeffectiveandefficientresponseandresolution.

  • LeveragemetricstoolsdataandresourcestohelpidentifyERandorganizationaleffectivenesstrendsinsightsandproactivestrategiesthatassistwithincreasingengagementandreducingrisk.

  • Conductregularauditsofthesystemtoensureproperuse.

ChangeProgrammeDelivery

  • ManagetheimplementationandexecutionofER-relatedchangeinitiatives().

  • WhererequiredtakealeadERroleonexecutingchangeprogrammessuchasconsultationsrelatedtobusinesstransformationorreorganizations.

  • SupportleadershipteamsthroughperiodsofchangewithclearcommunicationstrategiesandrobustERframeworks.

Data&Reporting

  • MaintainaccuraterecordsofcomplexERcasestoensurelegalcomplianceandriskmanagement.

  • AnalyseERtrendstoidentifysystemicissuesanddeveloppreventativestrategiesincollaborationwithHRBPsandCOEs.

  • Proactivelyescalateriskstorelevantseniorstakeholders.

  • Contributetopolicydevelopmentinitiativesandlinemanagerupskilling

Training

  • Createaholisticplan(designanddelivery)inpartnershipwiththeHRBusinessPartnersandotherHRCOEsforHRemployeeandmanagertrainingthatimprovesleadereffectivenessandbuildsERacumenonsubjectsincludingbutnotlimitedtosexualharassmentdiscriminationandperformancemanagement.
