The Role
This is an opportunity to build and run the operational engine behind how Valence hires and scales. This role is the people orchestration AI-first systems data and automation backbone that allows us to move quickly while maintaining a very high hiring bar. Every search runs through the talent ops systems every interview touches this role and every data point that informs our hiring decisions lives here.
You will own the day-to-day mechanics of hiring: scheduling interview logistics ATS hygiene reporting workflow design all in a deeply AI-native way. You will ensure our hiring managers are prepared our candidates have a high-quality experience and our data is clean and usable. You will also recruit so you uniquely understand the systems you are building and refining. You will run searches source proactively inside a system you are constantly improving.
This role is the operational nerve centre of our hiring function. If this role works well we hire faster with higher signal and with less friction - ultimately allowing us to hit our org-wide goals.

Location and Work Environment
This role is 3 days a week (Tues - Thursday) minimum in our office in Toronto (Spadina / Queen) OR in Tribeca (Canal / Broadway) Candidates must be comfortable working with colleagues in different time zones (US) and have valid travel documents to visit European countries as well as the US and Canada as needed.
