Job Summary
Overview
This Business & Accounting position is a part of a dynamic team at the New York School for Career & Applied Studies within Touro University. The adjunct is responsible for instruction course preparation developing instructional materials delivery grading and assessment. Able to teach in person at 3 Times Square and through virtual synchronous delivery (hybrid).
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning
- Develop schemes of work lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
- Masters degree required Ph.D. preferred.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills Touro University emphasizes excellent teaching in a student-focused undergraduate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel Power Point & Outlook
