Job Summary

What you will be doing

  • Develop document and improve manufacturing processes
  • Develop quality plans for products
  • Develop and implement corrective action based on root cause analysis
  • Develop lean manufacturing procedures reduce product lean time promote visual factory environment
  • Maintain machine and assembly production lines
  • Lead quality improvement efforts through training communication and implementation of new processes
  • Prepare manufacturing documentation
  • Coordinate projects
  • Work closely with internal and external customers as well as vendors to resolve issues and provide technical support
  • Key member of Product Design Team working with Design Engineers to develop and introduce new products
  • Establish and maintain cellular layouts
  • Lead and direct meetings with other team members and hourly associates

What we are looking for

  • Working towards BS in Engineering and /or Manufacturing or equivalent
  • Lean manufacturing practices ( Kanban Poke-Yoke JIT Value Stream Mapping)
  • Assembly Operations Metal Machining processes and tool design
  • SPC implementation and practical application
  • Ability to think progressively and creatively while keeping the future of the company and its employees in mind
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration capabilities
  • Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong Communication skills (written and public speaking)
