About the Role
Gundersen Health System is seeking a casual Registered Nurse to join our Employee Health Services team. This is a unique opportunity to care for the colleagues who care for our communitieswhile enjoying stable weekday hours and meaningful missiondriven work in the beautiful Coulee Region of La Crosse Wisconsin.
As an RN in Employee Health you will support the wellbeing safety and onboarding of employees students and volunteers across the organization. Your work will blend clinical skills education and workplace health expertise in a supportive collaborative environment.
Employee Health Services is located on the 3rd floor of the Main Clinic at the La Crosse campus.
What Youll Do
Provide employee health services to employees students and volunteers.
Conduct new employee onboarding visits including:
Medical history review
Immunizations
Basic nursing assessments
Phlebotomy
Drug screen collection
Provide health education and support for employee wellness including:
Fit testing clinics
PAPR and PPE training
Nicotine cessation support
Immunizations
Exposure management and phone triage
Perform clinical services and regulatory compliance activities such as TB testing clinical screenings and exposure management
Collaborate with Safety Infection Prevention HR and other internal partners.

What Were Looking For
MustHave
Current RN license to practice in Wisconsin Iowa and Minnesota(or ability to obtain/maintain multistate licensure).
Current InfantAdult BLS for Health Care Providers (hands-on) via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
Minimum 6 monthsof RN experience in a healthcare setting.
Strong communication skills professionalism flexibility and solid critical thinking abilities.
Preferred
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN).
At least 1 year experience in occupational/employee health workplace safety or workers compensation case management.
Ideal candidate will have three or more years of RN experience in any setting.
