Job Summary
Engineer the offshore structures that shape a more resilient and sustainable energy future.

As a Senior Structural Engineer youll apply advanced structural engineering expertise to the design validation and integrity assessment of offshore oil and gas platformshelping ensure that critical structures perform safely reliably and efficiently in some of the most challenging marine environments on the planet.
Purpose of the role
In this role youll lead and validate structural engineering activities across conceptual basic and detailed design phases. Youll ensure structural integrity operational safety and full compliance with international offshore standards. Youll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams guide junior engineers and influence critical project decisions while supporting the full lifecycle of offshore platform development.
Core responsibilities
- Execute and lead offshore structural design for:
Jackets
Topsides
Decks modules and bridges
Substructures and auxiliary elements - Perform advanced static and dynamic structural analysis including:
Environmental loads (wave wind current seismic)
Inplace operational maintenance and abandonment analyses
Offshore fatigue and service life evaluations - Develop structural analysis for temporary phases such as:
Loadout
Barge transport
Offshore installation (lifting and launching) - Prepare and review:
Structural calculation reports
Technical documentation and engineering deliverables
IFC structural drawings
Technical specifications - Ensure compliance with international offshore codes standards and best practices.
- Coordinate structural engineering deliverables with:
Process
Piping
Mechanical
Marine
Construction - Participate in technical reviews with certifying agencies and third parties.
- Provide technical support during fabrication and offshore construction.
- Lead mentor and supervise junior and intermediate structural engineers.
- Evaluate engineering changes RFIs and technical deviations.
Skills & experience
- 812 years of experience in offshore structural engineering (MUST).
- Proven experience with offshore oil & gas fixed platforms.
- EPC / EPCIC project experience.
- Experience designing for severe marine environments.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Masters in Structural or Offshore Engineering preferred).
