Job Summary

Basic Function Learn to direct management of an Aarons store with profit and loss responsibility. Asset management customer growth and maintenance revenue production personnel development and inventory control are key result areas of this position. The Big 5 is done Reports directly to the Regional ManagerPrimary ResponsibilitiesThe Acquisition and Maintenance of CustomersLearn recruiting and staffing procedures for a storeLearn to close all lease agreements properlyAssist with completion of quality control calls on all new lease agreements within 1 business day of deliveryResponsible for all renewal activityAssist with physically monitoring the back door whenever inventory movement occursLearn to facilitate and reconcile inventories by Wednesday of every weekAssist with return authorizationSafeguard all company assetsEnsure accurate and timely bank depositsMaintain company vehicles within safe operating standardsAssist with training and developing of store associatesAchieve planned growth and profit goalsLearn and execute all customer service programs company guidelines and policiesProvide a safe clean environment for customers and associatesEnsure adequate availability of merchandise at all timesAccurately report financial measures and transactionsPlan and organize to meet or exceed forecasted financial goalsEnsure published hours of store operations are metEnsure all returned merchandise is certified reclassified and of 3 years of prior specialty retail management experienceStrong leadership skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional appearanceHigh level of energyDemonstrated selling skillsEffective organizational skillsProven managerial skillsLicensure and Background requirementsSatisfactory MVR (driving record) D.O.T. physical/certification in states that require it a valid Drivers License and compliance with the Companys Driver Qualification Policy*Note that the pay range provided above is the lowest to highest rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future. An employees pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned vested and determinable.
