Job Summary

Description

  • Perform routine technical tasks on site in field or in laboratory environments.
  • Receive training in various phases of laboratory office plant or field technical work.
  • Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated simulator systems.
  • Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators and associated simulator systems.
  • Utilize maintenance management systems to record and track maintenance activities.
  • Complete all designated training activities.
  • Perform preflight and postflight procedures on designated simulators.
  • Perform basic visual alignments.
  • Run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG) tests.
  • Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
  • Learn and comply with CAEs Quality Management System.
  • Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Perform housekeeping functions to maintain simulators as required.
  • Perform logistics duties including parts receiving repair testing and validation.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required.
  • Support the Technical Services group with assigned tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2year technical degree or 4 years experience in an electronic avionic or technicalrelated field.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Ability to interpret system prints and schematics.
  • Proficiency in operating test equipment (oscilloscope multimeter signal generator logic analyzer etc.).
  • Knowledge of analog and digital theory.
  • Computer literacy (PC and/or mainframe architecture).
  • Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repair.
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and suite.
  • Fluency in English.
