What Youll Do

• Lead inventory and direct materials purchasing for the assigned plant location
• Source suppliers negotiate pricing and drive cost reduction initiatives
• Place enter and maintain purchase orders within the ERP/MRP system
• Administer Kanban orders for both inventory and MRO purchasing
• Monitor supplier performance maintain accurate data and support supplier scorecards
• Track deliveries expedite or de-expedite orders and resolve delivery issues
• Coordinate Vendor Corrective Action Requests (VCARs)
• Arrange returns for rejected or excess materials
• Support forecasting inventory management and both strategic and tactical purchasing activities
• Improve and streamline purchasing and data entry processes
• Perform other duties as assigned

What Youll Need

• Bachelors degree in Procurement Sourcing Business Administration Supply Chain or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of purchasing processes and data entry
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (Infor/XA preferred)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Adobe knowledge is a plus
• D365 experience preferred
• Ability to analyze data and implement strategies aligned with business goals
• Strong organizational skills and follow-through on tasks
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
