Job Summary

Title:

Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Perform electrical engineering design for onshore and/or offshore oil and gas facilities such as FPSOs platforms etc.
Responsible for studies designs specifications and services related to MV (11kV)/LV (690/400V) switchgear MV VFDs distribution systems etc.
Have detailed design experience on FPSO/offshore facilities MV (11kV) and LV (690/400V) systems/ancillaries including transformers etc. Have handled electrical packages such as UPS distribution boards or supported mechanical packages by reviewing engineering documents. Have database engineering experience developing load lists cable schedules control schematics etc.
Able to perform technical bid evaluations for basic electrical packages. Able to utilize database engineering i.e. SmartPlant/SPEL AVEVA to produce load lists cable schedules etc.
Work with a team of specialized Electrical Engineers/Designers for complete detailed design.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 7 years of experience with electrical design involving offshore and/or onshore oil & gas/power/industrial plant electrical power and distribution systems.
Familiarity with global electrical codes standards and regulations i.e. IEC/BSI etc.
Knowledge of electrical systems for assessment/compliance studies and reports.
Good understanding of electrical system design.
Able to work independently
