DescriptionThe Quantitative Trading group is a cross-asset front-office team working on the JP Morgan trading floor here in London looking for an Analyst or Associate to join the will join one of the biggest electronic trading franchises with a primary focus on the algorithmic order executionacross macro.
As an Analyst or Associate you will work in in a dynamic and rewarding environment to identify and design algorithmic trading solutions for clients needs drive revenue and expand the business. You will cover a wide range of responsibilities including designing trading and execution strategies researching micro-patterns and trends building applications and tools and supporting day-to-day operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement algorithmic orders to execute on behalf of clients.
- Formulate analyse and back-test strategies models and signals.
- Collaborate with technology to develop cutting-edge low-latency infrastructure that meets business needs in a scalable manner.
- Perform statistical analysis of algorithmic order execution to drive iterative improvements.
- Develop real-time and post-trade transaction cost analysis models to optimize the algorithmic execution.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
Good knowledge of statistics and/or machine learning.
Interest in quantitativesystematictrading across asset classes.
Strategic and creative thinking when faced with problems and opportunities eager to explore and learn.
Any experience in FX Commodities and/or Rates markets or familiarity with trading concepts and terminology is useful but not essential.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness propriety knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
