Job Summary
2 months contract with a local authority
Job Purpose
- The postholder will provide expert leadership in public health data analysis modelling interpretation and visualisation while ensuring robust data governance information security and compliance with legal and ethical requirements.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Lead the development and delivery of Public Health Intelligence to support strategic planning and commissioning
- Undertake oversee and qualityassure advanced analysis of large public health datasets
- Lead on and contribute to core intelligence products including the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) and other health needs assessments
- Provide expert methodological advice on statistical epidemiological and analytical approaches
Essential Experience Required
- Substantial experience in public health intelligence health analytics or a related field
- Experience of analysing and interpreting complex health datasets
- Proven project management experience in a public health local authority or health setting
- Experience working with data governance data quality and information security
- Experience of stakeholder engagement and partnership working
Essential Qualifications Required
- First degree or equivalent relevant experience (e.g. public health statistics epidemiology health informatics)
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills

- Working hours: 22.20 hours per week (Mon - Wed)
- Hybrid working
- Location: Floor 3rd Time Square RG12 1JD
- We work on Bi weekly payment schedule
