Why This Role Matters

We are now seeking a VP Delivery CIS Nordics for our Energy & Utilities vertical which is one of our most strategically critical delivery organisations. This is a high-impact transformation-led Executive role with genuine scale complexity and influence.

What Youll Do

As VP Delivery CIS Nordics you will take full accountability for end-to-end delivery outcomes across Product Delivery Engineering execution and Consulting Services for Hansens Billing & CIS platform in the Nordics with scope to expand across Europe.

You will lead a 100-person organisation driving a step-change in delivery reliability predictability quality customer outcomes and cost efficiency. This is not a steady-state role it is a turnaround and modernisation mandate.

You will:

  • Lead delivery through a major architecture and platform transformation
  • Introduce modern DevSecOps CI/CD reliability and quality practices including AI-enabled tooling
  • Rebuild execution discipline operating rhythm and performance culture
  • Own the cost-side P&L partnering closely with Product Commercial and Finance leadership
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex customer delivery and service challenges

What you will be accountable for

  • End-to-end delivery leadership
  • Own delivery outcomes across roadmap execution releases client implementations and live operations on time on quality and within cost.

Transformation & Modernisation

  • Lead delivery for large-scale architecture change tooling uplift (including AI-assisted delivery practices) and modern engineering ways of working with clear governance and measurable ROI.

Predictability & Performance turnaround

  • Diagnose historical delivery challenges and execute a pragmatic phased improvement plan stabilisation transformation and long-term modernisation.

Customer outcomes

  • Ensure consistent high-quality delivery across SaaS and onprem models managing contractual obligations risk and expectations at executive level.

Cost productivity & operational leverage

  • Build and manage cost plans forecasts and utilisation models improving productivity through workforce mix automation and simplification.

Leadership & culture

  • Build a high-performance leadership bench embed accountability and create a culture of quality learning and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

You are a senior delivery leader with a proven record of turning around and scaling complex software delivery organisations. You combine deep engineering credibility with commercial acumen and executive presence.

You bring:

  • Demonstrated success lifting underperforming delivery organisations through structured metrics-driven change
  • Strong ownership of outcomes across Product Engineering and Services
  • Deep understanding of modern software architecture reliability and delivery practices
  • Experience owning cost-side P&L including forecasting utilisation and investment governance
  • The ability to operate credibly with executives customers and regulators in high-stakes environments
  • Experience in Billing & CIS platforms within Energy & Utilities large-scale platform modernisation and multi-country delivery models is highly advantageous.
  • Language skills: Norwegian & English are essential whilst other languages are highly beneficial.
