Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant/ Team Leader with strong LNG import terminal expertise and demonstrated leadership capability.
This role requires a technically strong professional who can independently lead LNG design while managing and coaching a multidisciplinary team of 810 engineers across various disciplines (Process Mechanical Marine Electrical Instrumentation Safety etc.).
The candidate must combine deep technical competence structured team leadership stakeholder management and a proactive drive to continuously improve engineering quality and discipline capability.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university
- Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering or MBA (Required)
Experience Requirements
- 1012 years of Engineering / Design experience in the LNG industry
- Proven experience in LNG Import Terminal projects (Onshore / FSRU preferred)
- Experience across Feasibility FEED project phases
- Consulting firm experience is highly preferred
Leadership & Team Handling
- Proven experience leading a multidisciplinary engineering team of 810 engineers
- Experience allocating tasks reviewing deliverables and ensuring technical quality control
- Strong capability in mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
- Ability to manage multiple interfaces and resolve cross-disciplinary technical challenges
- Strong decision-making capability at the discipline lead level
Leadership Mindset & Growth Orientation
- Energetic self-driven professional who actively drives project momentum
- Continuously develops and improves technical content methodologies and design philosophies
- Coaches and uplifts team capability through structured technical guidance
Technical Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Feasibility Studies for LNG import terminals and related energy infrastructure projects
- Develop review and oversee the preparation of FEED documentation ensuring alignment with project design basis client requirements and industry standards
- Define and establish process design philosophies technical assumptions and the basis of design documentation
Candidates based in Jakarta are preferred.
