Job Summary
What does it feel like to be a Network Administrator in Netcompany
As a Network Administrator you will:
- Ensure the operation of network telecommunications and computer infrastructure to meet the organisations communication needs.
- Operate and manage network components.
- Investigate diagnose and resolve network issues.
- Monitor network performance and security to meet agreed service level standards.
- Use network management tools to analyse network load and performance statistics.
- Identify and address network traffic bottlenecks.
- Install and upgrade network components and monitoring solutions.
- Test and validate system upgrades.
Qualifications :
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of network administration and communication protocols (WAN WLAN VLAN etc.).
- Knowledge of network security VPN implementation and encryption techniques.
- Experience operating network devices and services including routers switches load balancers firewalls and cryptographic devices.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools.
- Relevant technical certifications such as:
- CCNA CCNP CCIE CCDE or CCAr.
- BIG-IP Certified Administrator and/or BIG-IP LTM Specialist certifications.
- SANS certification related to Network Security.
- Fluency in English.
