Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Platform Administrator / Architect to join a dynamic Infrastructure & Operations environment reporting to the Digital Workplace leadership team.
This role is critical in designing structuring securing and evolving the SharePoint platform within a modern Microsoft ecosystem. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering scalable and governed content management solutions across the full information lifecycle including document management collaboration and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Define maintain and evolve the SharePoint architecture (Online and/or On-Prem) ensuring alignment with Microsoft technologies particularly the Power Platform
Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure a scalable structured and well-governed platform
Establish and enforce architectural governance ensuring compliance with standards across all solutions and developments
Validate technical designs and support business teams in translating requirements into aligned architectural solutions
Develop and maintain standards best practices and governance frameworks (site structures access control development guidelines etc.)
Act as a key stakeholder liaison ensuring alignment and buy-in across IT teams business units and external partners
Participate in governance bodies to ensure solution quality sustainability and compliance
Power Platform Governance
Define and oversee governance of Power Platform solutions (Power Apps Power Automate etc.)
Ensure:
Alignment with overall architecture
Security and compliance standards
Maintainability and reusability of components
Cost and licensing optimization
Enable business autonomy while preventing shadow IT through structured environments and governance frameworks
Candidate Profile
Strong expertise in SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises
Advanced experience with Microsoft Power Platform
Proven experience in architectural design and governance within enterprise environments
Ability to structure complex environments and provide clear technical direction
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience supporting business users in document architecture and automation
