Job Responsibilities:
Conduct laboratory tests and analysis in compliance with established laboratory standards policies and processes and record all findings accurately.
Perform analysis at site laboratories or at field assignments.
Prepare and standardize reagents and test solutions.
Review question and repeat results if suspicious results are encountered.
Represent the Laboratory as witness at third party and refinery laboratory.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the laboratory including apparatus equipment and materials used.
Assist in the practical training of new Analyst where assigned.
Perform shift work and overtime when required.
Perform any tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Apply judgement and act according to SGS standards of ethics and integrity.
Qualifications :
Diploma in Science Chemistry Chemical Engineering or related fields.
Minimum one year of relevant working experience in Oil Gas & Chemical laboratory.
Good knowledge of laboratory processes and safe handling of chemicals.
Good knowledge and experience in handling Gas Chromatography and other scientific testing instruments.
High attention to details meticulous with good time management.
Results and service-oriented.
Team player with a positive working attitude.
Able to multi-task and work independently within challenging timelines.
