Ensure the quality of purchased components from external suppliers in accordance with M/PUQ-QueP procedures with the purpose of guaranteeing the quality of the final component delivered to customers.
Manage quality incidents in the plant material containment and ensure the continuous flow of defect-free materials to the plant.
Supervise and support supplier quality cost recovery.
Manage supplier concessions resulting from quality incidents.
Prepare specific reports for the division (Inc/bn CRI SRI RRDC Concessions).
Support PPAP approvals.
Coordinate teams of 5 or more associates: assign tasks and schedules monitor work and support the team through coaching.
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
- Language Skills: Advanced English proficiency required (ability to lead meetings and communicate effectively with international suppliers and stakeholders). German is a plus.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Experience with statistical techniques and quality reporting.
- Hands-on support and attention to detail required.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of assembly processes (preferred background).
- Knowledge of metrology and industry-standard measurement techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings process documents and quality assurance standards.
- Experienced in using ISIR PILUM SRM BOSISQ SupplyOn SAP and Minitab.
Soft Skills:- Leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Strong presentation skills with experience engaging different organization levels.
